WOW!! What a day!

Well no wacky words from Luna today, cause I didn't write any down. (bad mommy)

Luna had a short day at school, cause we took Grandma to the doctor.
Wow I forgot how boring doctor's offices are :), but I would do anything for Grandma.

After we had a late lunch at Souper Salad, we headed to church.
We started a new bible study tonight. I'm so excited about it!!
God has been working out so many things in my life lately
and I looking forward to see what else he has for me!!

Ice Cream Shoppe

Yesterday we got to spend the afternoon in town and
the girls shared a sundae at our local ice cream shoppe.
I love all the lil shops Guthrie has.

Today we went to the Just Between Friends sale.
If you have kids or are pregnant you WILL want to go.
Tomorrow is the last day and almost everything is 50% off.
I got 9 pieces of clothing for Luna for under $25!!!!!
I have been going to their sales (which are twice a year) since before Luna was born.
LOVE THEM!

I'll be off-line all day tomorrow while I attempt to paint my living room.

Luna's Wacky Words on Wednesday

Hello

As you have probably noticed, I've been absent for a few days.
So here is a lil catch up.

Sunday: Church was canceled due to the crazy weather we have had. Not like we would have gone anyway, since both Luna and I threw up the night before. Luna did good Sunday, but I slept all day since that was the only time I felt good.

Monday: I was feeling much better, but still weak. I took Luna to school and then took a lil nap. I can't believe there are only 10 week left till summer break. Disney Land here we come (Lord willing). After school we headed to Grandma's house for "Grandma's Day". We had some yummy soup for lunch, and I enjoyed listing to Grandma read a paper she wrote on sin. Then it was off to music class for Luna. After that we headed to Wal-Mart to find some curtins for our living room--found them!!! Now I just need the rodes. I was so out of breath and felt like I was going to fall over, but I made it back home without anything major happening.

Today: Just another typical day :)

Now hope I can keep up with this blog thing, since I'm pretty much back to normal.

It's Saturday!

I had a great time this afternoon, with Juan and Luna!
After a yummy Chinese lunch, we headed to the bowling alley.
Luna woke up the other morning, asking to go bowling.
So we planed to go today, we, however did not plan on SNOW!!!

Oh, and I tore the yard up trying to get out this morning :)

Yesterday it was 74 and we were in tank tops and flip flops!!!!
Today it's in the 30s and SNOW!!!!!!

We got to make another dress today. Luna wore it to church tonight, she looked so cute!!

One Down

This was the highlight of my day yesterday!!
Luna doing the dishes all by herself. Just hope she keeps this up :)
After she was done, she said, "It feels like I just took a bath."

Juan came home early this morning!!!
It is so good to have him back home and safe.

We went to Mom's this afternoon and started to cut out the patterns for the skits and dresses we are going to make. We got two cut out and one sewn up.
Luna helped "drive" the sewing machine and iron with a toy iron.

We need to get a purple shirt, to go with it.

It's Saturday!

Well, we had two b-day parties we went to yesterday!!!!
But before that I was at mom's with my sisters making mexican tacos (or flaming tacos)
I turned on the broiler to toast the taco shell and a few minutes later we had flames about 2 feet tall. After I threw the pan on the counter and dowsed it in water I grab the camera. The flames were must smaller, but you get the picture :)

The first party we went to was Luna's best friend Savannah.
Luna has never been skating before, and had a blast!!

They are so cute together!!
Every time they see each other they run and give each other a huge hug.

We had an hour and a half to burn between parties, then it was back to skating again!
Krisyanna is Luna's friend from school.
I skated this time, but no pix:) Man, I haven't skated since I was a teenager. It truly is a work out. It makes me want to go buy a pair of roller blades.

I was really proud of Luna skating so well, for never doing it before.
She had so much fun dancing to the music.

Off Day

I have been very impatient today.
I could contribute it to haveing two extra girls in the house who didn't seen to know how to obey.
Or that Juan has been gone now for a week and I want him back!!!!
(bwt please pray for his safety, he is suppose to be back Sunday.)
But then it dawned on me, I didn't pray this morning.
Without God and His Spirit to guide my every action, I'm just my sinful human self.

I'm ready for things to be back to normal!!!!

Another day at the Park

Yesterday we got to go to the park with my good friend and Luna's boyfriend :)
It was so windy!! We always have so much fun with them!!
Sure gonna wish you guys!

I have Lilly again this weekend, and she tagged along too.

N (and A) was cracking up as Luna was getting him.

This lil guy is learning how to walk.
p.s. my lil sister Jamie took the two close ups, she really has a good eye!

Today starts spring break!! I'm hoping Luna and I will get to do something fun together.

I had heard that the thrift store by our house had some easter dresses.
I was so excited to see what we could find.
So after school I took Luna over there and we found the perfect one for $5!!!!!

On the way home we stopped by another shop and found two cute skirts!!

Well at grandma's today I helped her clean and dust her book shelves.
She has books on about anything you could image :)

It's Saturday!

I actually had the morning to myself and LOVED it!!. Luna stayed the night at Mom's. After relaxing and taking a long shower, I headed down town for a senior shoot. It was a lot of fun.

When I got home, my sisters and cousin were there with Luna. So I made some lunch.
Grilled chicken and zucchini.

While Juan is gone to Mexico I'm driving his big diesel truck. I'm NOT used to driving it. It is so much harder than my lil car!! Juan does not want me driving it to the city and I really wanted to go to Hancock Fabrics to take advantage of their sale. So mom gave my a ride to the store.

I found some really cute fabric!!


I got three different combinations to make Luna some skirts and dresses!

This evening I went to dinner with my sunday school class! We ate a Sumo's. It was so fun hanging out with adults and laghing and talking big people talk!! I love my church family!!!

Many Adventures :)

We have had many adventures these last two days. Lanie and Lilly my two lil sisters are here with us, while mom is at a conference. I'm so glad it has been warm and they played outside a lot. Yesterday they played "horsey" on the front railing.

Oh, and Juan is gone to Mexico, to fix his mom's house.

Work In Progress

We are well on our way to having Luna's room complied :)
Today I added some wall lettering from Uppercase Living

Here are a few lil accents we already have.

I still need to make a quilt for her new "big girl" bed.
I found a few possible fabrics choices.

We are also having Kelly come and do a mural on her wall!!
I'm so excited to meet her and see what she comes up with!!!
